Aquatic System Enhancement is an optional follow-up service available to existing monitoring clients or clients who have completed a Pond Health Assessment.

Following an assessment, Mizu Aquatic Systems may identify opportunities to improve the health, biodiversity, resilience or visual appeal of the aquatic system through carefully selected plants and fish.

Enhancements may include:

🌿 Introduction of aquatic plants to improve nutrient uptake and biological balance.

💧 Additional planting to improve the current system if found lacking

🐟 Introduction of compatible ornamental fish where the system has the biological and filtration capacity to safely accommodate additional stocking.

🏞️ Improvements to the aesthetic appeal of ponds and water features through naturalistic planting and ecosystem design.

All plants and fish are sourced through trusted local suppliers and selected based on the specific requirements and capacity of the existing system.

Aquatic System Enhancement is not intended to maximise stocking density or create unnecessary additions to a pond. Instead, the goal is to improve ecological function, long-term stability and visual appeal while respecting the limitations of the aquatic environment.

Because every pond is different, recommendations are tailored to the results of the Pond Health Assessment and ongoing monitoring programme.
